2018 - Blessing of the Bikes

This outreach was a success as it always is. The goal is to get together sometime in April and invite all the bikers in our communities to converge (Drive our bikes) from their town to Port Townsend for prayer and encouragement for safety and for their family and our riding season. We got to bless over 100 motorcycles this past April. We are excited for the coming year. The relationships that we build at the Blessing of the Bikes are priceless. When we started, it was pretty much just me (Jonathan) going bike to bike praying for people and their bikes; now we have a community of Christians including the Christian Motorcycle Association CMA, Christian Crusaders MM, Followers of Christ DM, along with other believers in Christ that show up to pray for everybody. Be sure to mark your calendar for 2019 April 20th and look us up on Facebook at Clallam and Jefferson County Biker Network.

2018 - Skate'n Burger

On October 6th the Sequim Skatepark Foundation held a skate park fundraiser contest at Carrie Blake Park. The day before was very rainy and the day after, but on the day of the event, God gave us perfect 70 degree dry weather. The Contest was for all ages and was a great family event; over 200 people showed up from 11am-4pm. The Gospel was shared with every burger made. I noticed skateboarders, bikers and scooters with Gospel of John's in there back pockets as they did tricks thru the Skatepark. I was so blessed to hear that many people loved that The True Vine Fellowship cared enough to make free burgers for everyone. Several men came out to help with evangelism and burgers from the morning men's bible study at Calvary Chapel Sequim. They day was a wonderful opportunity to share love with the Skatepark community of Sequim.

2018 - The Sequim Community Car Wash

This was our 4th year serving others by doing a carwash for My Choices. It was a wonderful time of evangelism. We had over 40 people come and serve others and share the love of Jesus. We always work so hard and do our best to clean cars, trucks and RV(s). The servants and evangelists worked from 10am to 4pm. This year we made gourmet hamburgers for all who wanted a free lunch and a clean car. We are blessed to use Discount Tire’s water and parking lot and in turn blessed their employees with burgers as well. This year we were able to help My Choices with the donations we received from happy people who had nice clean cars… to the blessing of over $1,500.00. It was a wonderful time of evangelism and giving out the word of God through His Gospel of John. We are excited for what God will do next year!
