The Sequim Irrigation Parade in May is the oldest parade in the state of Washington. For the last three years several local churches have came together to represent Jesus in the parade. Pastor Jonathan and Friends played live Christian music from a towed, decorated trailer. Others carried Biblical banners or drove vehicles displaying banners. Gospels of John and Jesus film DVD’s were passed out to the receptive parade onlookers. Our Ten Commandments trailer was not able to make it this year but we were joined by the DCC Recovery Group, with youth who helped pass out the Gospels and DVD’s.

A week later we participated in the Port Townsend Rhody Parade. This time the Ten Commandments trailer made it. All our entries had to be decorated with Rhododendrons, including the boat with the singing Christian children. Pastor Jonathan and Friends provided the music. Gospels of John and Jesus film DVD’s were passed out to the crowd.
